Ross Lake is approximately 294 acres and is 19 ft at its deepest point. It is an all sports lake located in the heart of the city of Beaverton. Ross Lake Park is on the lake and offers a dock, boat launch, fishing pier, and beach area. Since it is a park, there are also a few pavilions and a play ground. Ross Lake is located within the city of Beaverton in Gladwin County. It is not uncommon to see fishing boats (catching walleye, perch, bass, crappie, catfish) and pontoons on the lake in the summer, and motorcycles racing on the lake in the winter. The city of Beaverton's July 4th fireworks display is enjoyed over the lake each summer.
